Recommendations for the 2014 Easter weekend in Gay London

It’s been a long wait through what was not the easiest winter for many, but the Easter weekend is almost here. Not only that, it kick off no less than three bank holiday weekends in the space of six weeks.

As ever for a bank holiday there is a mixture of the familiar and quite a few noteworthy new and one-off events. We’ll be updating this page as we get more information closer to the weekend, so check back for updates. We’ve also added a few events that are not strictly gay events, but are still worth considering.

Update: Since the time of writing we have, like many reading this no doubt, had the chance to watch London Live. We’ll give the channel some time to bed in before posting some thoughts.

London gains a new TV channel at the end of this month when “London Live” launches on Freeview, YouView, Sky and Virgin Media on Monday 31 March.

A few notes on New York City’s gay scene (from a Londoner’s perspective)

We were fortunate to be able to pay a return visit to New York City very recently. It’s a city we know well (though we wouldn’t pretend to know as well as those who live there) and one we like to keep an eye on. Not least because cultural trends in North America tend to make their away across the atlantic to the UK over time.
